I left a 20-year publishing career to become a teacher because I want to be a champion for 3- to 7-year-old children. I love this age group and want to help them reach their potential before they make the big move to middle primary. It's a privilege every day to be with children - it's totally my reason for being! I believe in the power of sustained shared thinking and being a knowledgeable adult in a child's life to inspire and teach them. I am also a passionate communicator who combines my love of sharing stories and knowledge with children with the ability to actively listen. And I love sharing stories about teaching and why people become teachers.
