Teaching is how I’m changing the world. I want my children to experience an arts-rich curriculum, to see that there are many ways of being and learning. I want them to feel that their thoughts and ideas are valued, and that they can be expressed in all kinds of ways. I want my kids to be taught by people who understand the gift that the arts brings for them as teachers: a way of children expressing their humanity, that might help teachers and students to connect with each other as thinking, feeling, fellow-humans.
