More than just a job

As a teenager I first heard the concept of choosing a vocation as opposed to a job. As a secondary Health and Physical educator I feel as though I can use my passion for sport, physical activity and health to inspire, train and guide my students to achieve all they can. Teaching has given me so much satisfaction, opportunities and memories - especially from time teaching overseas, taking students overseas and the numerous teams and sports I’ve coached. Giving students the confidence to “have a go” and to develop a lifelong love of physical activity and health is a challenge that I take up daily.
