Music is a bridge

I became a Music teacher because I love sharing the gift of Music with the younger generation. I love that Music can communicate with my students who may not speak much English or students who find it difficult to communicate and express themselves. The Music classroom is a place that all can achieve and music truly is for everyone! My students move, study, dance and experience music. They are creative and compose songs. They are constantly challenged in my classroom and each time the smile on their faces when they get something tricky is priceless. I love my job. I love being surrounded by my students. I love getting to know them in my classroom and can't wait to go on more musical discovery adventures with them all.
