Empathy at the Heart

I am studying to become a teacher because I want every student, regardless of their ability or personal background, to leave the classroom feeling proud of their efforts and ability. I wanted that empathy when I was at school, so I decided to become a teacher to show that empathy to my students. I believe every child/teenager needs an adult who cares about their future, in their corner cheering them on & showing them how to pick themselves back up when they fall. I am that adult for my students.
