Behind every successful student is an empowering leader. I was fortunate to have that throughout my youth and now I want to pay it forward and be a mirror for many young children in today’s society. My students have taught me that they crave human to human connections and admire teachers who make an effort to get to know them. With that, I have learnt that students connect more with our character than our content. It is who we are as individuals that amplifies our teaching. I am passionate about providing youth with the platform to authentically express themselves and plant seeds that will set them up for success.
